You will be responsible for:
Set up loading and operating laser cutting equipment to produce accurate cuts based on provided specifications.
Adjust laser settings, such as speed and power, to achieve optimal cutting results for different materials.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser cutting equipment to ensure consistent performance.
Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and precision of laser-cut parts.
Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and meet production targets.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Keep records of production activities in syteline Remove tabs and deburr parts after cutting as necessary Who we're looking for High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining laser cutting machines.
Knowledge of different materials used in a machine shop.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety procedures and the ability to follow them diligently.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
