Position: Assistant Superintendent
Qualifications: Applicants must hold appropriate Georgia Leadership certification. At a minimum the applicant should hold a Masters degree; Specialist or higher preferred. Applicants should have four years of administrative experience and a minimum of three years teaching experience. The preference is for the four years of administrative experience to include being a principal or director/coordinator at the central office level of a school district. Preference will be given to those applicants who plan to take an active role in the community.
Responsibilities: Applicants should be prepared to work with a range of subjects, including policy, curriculum and instruction, school safety, school law, testing, human resources, student services, facilities/maintenance, and special education. Applicants should be individuals of high character and integrity. They should be excellent communicators and skilled at working with others in a collaborative manner. Applicants should be advocates for students and student achievement.
Contract/Salary: Twelve months / State salary and administrative supplement based on degree and experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
